Are you trying to get to the next level in your writing?
I am seeking a limited number of interested and highly motivated writers or authors who would like to work with me as a creative coach. My goal is to help you finish your current project efficiently and exceptionally, help you nurture your creativity, and support your general well-being. I love working with both indie-publishing authors and traditionally-publishing authors!
Details:
Each week we will meet via Zoom for fifty minutes to an hour and I will work for another hour on mentorship tasks for you including but not limited to: accountability and support emails, editing query letters or proposals, editing PB manuscripts or excerpts of novel manuscripts, researching, brainstorming tactics, and reading/ researching mentor texts.
Rates:
For individuals involved in the Writers’ Loft community, $75/hour ($150 per week)
For individuals not involved in the Writers’ Loft community, $100/hour ($200/ week)
Why is the fee less for those involved in the Writers’ Loft? Because being in a supported community means you probably have the basics covered and we can focus on next-level stuff!
I am also available to edit entire manuscripts as a part of the mentorship for an additional fee that will be discussed and agreed upon ahead of time.
Free 30-minute consultation.
Bio: Heather is the founder and director of The Writers’ Loft, a non-profit writing community in Sherborn MA, which supports over 500 writers and authors with critique groups, classes, and community. She directed the NESCBWI conference for two years and edited and published two anthologies, FIRSTS, a collection of short stories, and AN ASSORTMENT OF ANIMALS, an illustrated poetry anthology. (She’s in the process of editing a third.) Her passion is to help authors, one author at a time, become healthier, happier, and more productive. She gives workshops at writing conferences, including Hollihock, on author collaboration, productivity, and nurturing creativity. She works with authors who have traditionally and indie-published dozens of books and is often called for advice when authors are at crossroads. Heather is in the process of indie-publishing her own works and loving the creative control.
You can read her poetry and short story in the anthologies listed above. If you would like to chat with some of the authors Heather has worked with either now or in the past, or are interested in becoming a client, let her know in an email!
